British TV personality Zara McDermott has been named as an ambassador for domestic abuse charity Refuge.

McDermott commented 'I am beyond thrilled and honoured to announce that I am now an ambassador for Refuge. I have partnered with Refuge for many years, so to become an ambassador is such a wonderful opportunity that I cannot wait to grasp with both hands. Using my platform to both create documentaries around violence against women, and to be an advocate has always been incredibly important to me'.
